Whole mitogenome data -- Hungarian-speaking individuals from Baranja (Croatia) and Zobor region (Slovakia)

Here we present 168 whole mitogenomes from Hungarian-speaking minorities, living in the Zobor region part of Slovakia and in the Baranja part of Croatia. We carefully selected the sample providers with local Hungarian ancestors inhabiting small villages. We evaluated the results with population genetic and phylogenetic methods, in the context of those modern and ancient populations that are geographically or historically related to them.
