Dinoflagellate Symbiodiniaceae UV mutants

This Sequence Read Archive (SRA) deposit features Next-generation sequencing (NGS) data from a series of ultraviolet (UV) radiation-induced mutants within the Symbiodiniaceae family of dinoflagellates. The primary aim of this research is to investigate the genetic underpinnings that contribute to unique pigment profiles in these species. Given their critical role as symbiotic algae in coral ecosystems, Symbiodiniaceae are vital for the health and sustainability of coral reefs, making this study significant for marine biology and environmental conservation.
