The Multi-cam Multi-map VILO Campus Dataset was developed by the State Key Laboratory of Industrial Control Technology, Zhejiang University, with the goal of verifying the high accuracy and real-time performance of multi-camera multi-map visual-inertial positioning systems. This dataset includes 9 months of data collection in a campus environment, covering an area of 265,000 square meters, with a total trajectory length exceeding 55 kilometers. The dataset construction process involves multi-sensor hardware configuration and synchronized image stream collection from multiple cameras, to accommodate long-term environmental changes and viewpoint variations. It is primarily used to evaluate and optimize visual-inertial positioning systems, especially in the fields of autonomous driving and robotic navigation, to address the challenges of real-time positioning and drift-free feedback.
