The dataset contains data related to the publication "Quantum rotor in a two-dimensional mesoscopic Bose gas" by Michał Suchorowski, Alina Badamshina, Mikhail Lemeshko, Michał Tomza, Artem G. Volosniev published in SciPost Phys. 18, 059 (2025).Data was produced using own developed code.Each Zip file contains source data for Figures in the associated publication. The data consists of the model's parameters and observables obtained by numerically solving the extended Gross-Piteavskii equation for the two-dimensional Bose-Einstein condensate with a single quantum rotor.In files, there are the following parameters and observables:Parameters:N_g - spacial grid size in a single direction,N_b - number of bosons in the system,alpha - bosons-impurity interactions strength,g - boson-boson interaction strength,L - total angular momentum of the system,omega - rotational constant of the molecule multiplied by 2: omega = 2*B_rot,k - harmonic constant of the trapping potential,r0 - range of the interaction potential (always set as sqrt(2)).Observables:A - angular momentum of the bosonic bath per particle,E - the total energy per particle,mu - chemical potential,f - integral of the squared density of the condensate: \int |psi|^4,A2 - expectation value of the bath's angular momentum squared,devA - the standard deviation of the bath's angular momentum,DE - rotational energy defined as E(L)-E(L=0),J - the angular momentum of the impurity,B_eff - effective rotational consant,Ekin - kinetic energy,Epot - potential energy.Each zip file consist of the data files, Python script that read the files and output plots in pdf format. Data files from numerical calculations are in the text format. Data files from the analytical calculations are in the npy format. The describtion of each data file's structure can be found in the README.txt.
