The sudden change in solar wind proton flux was defined as: (1) the ratio of high-flux to low-flux ≥ 1.5, (2) the duration of high-flux ≥ 1 hour.XMM-Newton's line of sight passed through the sun-side magnetosheath.XMM-Newton original data files were acquired from the XMM-Newton science archive. The Science Analysis System (SAS) software (version 20.0.0) and the Current Calibration Files (CCFs) released on September 20, 2021, were used for the XMM-Newton data analysis.
