Decolonial Atlas: Mapping Artists that Challenge Digital Colonialism is a research-based project that explores the manifestations of digital colonialism in global contemporary art. Conceived as an interactive cartography, it identifies, locates, and connects artists and works that critically respond to the asymmetries of power, exploitation, and inequality reproduced by digital technologies.<br>From a decolonial and critical perspective, the Atlas examines practices that interrogate issues such as algorithmic surveillance, technological neocolonialism, cultural appropriation, and artistic resistance. By situating these productions within both geographical and conceptual frameworks, the project seeks to offer a panoramic view of how contemporary art problematizes the nexus of technology and power in the 21st century.<br>Methodologically, the research combines theoretical analysis, digital curation, and data visualization, employing interactive maps as curatorial devices that engage the public and foster critical dialogue. In doing so, the Decolonial Atlas underscores the potential of artistic creation to operate as a tool for decolonization, epistemic plurality, and social transformation.
