Digital Data from an Archaeological Evaluation at Land north of London Road, Hook, Hampshire 2022

This collection comprises images and GIS data from an archaeological evaluation carried out by Cotswold Archaeology in January 2022, on land to the north of London Road, Hook, Hampshire.
A total of eight trenches were excavated. Two of the ten proposed trenches could not be opened due to constraints on site.
Four linear features were found within three of the excavated trenches, the remaining five excavated trenches being devoid of archaeological features. Only two artefacts were recovered, from the fill of a linear feature: a single, small fragment of Roman tegula tile and a small fragment of fired clay, possibly a remnant of kiln furniture.
