To provide a fine fibrous cellulose-containing composition， by which the viscosity of a fine fibrous cellulose dispersion can be reduced without changing the concentration of the fine fibrous cellulose， and a method for manufacturing the composition. A fine fibrous cellulose-containing composition which contains a fine fibrous cellulose having a fiber width of 1，000 nm or less， an enzyme-derived protein， a protease or a chlorine-containing oxo acid or a salt thereof.
