In 2023, FakeUpdates was the type of malware most frequently used in corporate cyberattacks. Qbot ranked second among other malware families, with around nine percent of the corporate networks reporting to have encountered it. Organizations around the world also detected other malware groups like AgentTesla and Formbook.
