Ammospiza caudacuta RNA sequencing

Saltmarsh Sparrow, Ammospiza caudacuta, is a small sparrow found in salt marshes along the Atlantic coast of the United States. This project includes RNA sequencing data from multiple tissue types obtained from samples of two females, procured by Emily Patterson from Chapmans Landing marsh in Stratham, New Hampshire. Sequencing was conducted at the University of New Hampshire, coordinated by Adrienne Kovach and Kelley Thomas. The RNA sequences were developed for a study on the genetic basis of adaptation in tidal marsh sparrows and used for annotation of the Saltmarsh Sparrow genome, developed by the Vertebrate Genome Project.
