Gestalt Enhances Character Portrayal

This dataset accompanies the author’s doctoral research article and contains both quantitative and qualitative data used in the analysis. The quantitative component includes anonymised pre-test and post-test scores from the Character Portrayal Proficiency (CPP) assessment, together with exported statistical outputs generated in SPSS. The qualitative component includes anonymised interview with NVivo coding files and thematic analysis results. These materials provide the empirical basis for examining the integration of Gestalt therapeutic techniques into undergraduate actor training. While all data have been de-identified to protect participant confidentiality, the original audio and video recordings are not included due to ethical restrictions. This dataset is intended to support transparency, reproducibility, and secondary analysis by other qualified researchers.
