Quercus wislizeni Genomic Resources

Quercus wislizeni (interior live oak) is an evergreen oak native to coastal and interior foothills and mountains from Baja California, Mexico to Shasta Co., northern California. It includes a tree form (Q. wislizeni var wislizeni) and a shrub form commonly at higher elevations (Q. wislizeni var. frutescens); a form from the San Francisco Bay area (Q. wislizeni var. tamalpaensis) is now considered to be of hybrid origin. These data have been produced as part of the CCGP. Sequencing was conducted with HiFi Pacific Biosciences long reads at UCDavis Genome Core, Dovetail's OmniC libraries, and Illumina sequencing at UCBerkeley QB3 Genomics Core.
