"Acute Intravenous Magnesium Supplementation Enhances Time-to-Exhaustion and Alters Metabolic Responses During Maximal-Intensity Running in Trained Athletes"
收藏资源简介:
This dataset contains the performance and metabolic data used in the study “Acute Intravenous Magnesium Supplementation Enhances Time-to-Exhaustion and Alters Metabolic Responses During Maximal-Intensity Running in Trained Athletes.” The study was a prospective, randomized, single-blind crossover trial involving sixteen trained runners who completed two time-to-exhaustion (Tlim) tests at individually determined vVO₂max, following the administration of either 1 g intravenous magnesium sulfate or placebo. The dataset includes variables related to performance (time to exhaustion), metabolic responses (respiratory exchange ratio, VO₂, VCO₂), and cardiovascular measures (heart rate), recorded during maximal-intensity treadmill exercise. All identifying participant information has been removed in accordance with ethical guidelines. This dataset supports the statistical analyses and findings reported in the manuscript and is provided to ensure transparency, replicability, and scientific reproducibility.
