收藏资源简介:
Enterotoxigenic Escherichia coli (ETEC) is a major cause of infectious diarrhoea, causing nearly half a million fatal cases in children under the age of 5 year, mostly from low- and middle-income countries and what has become commonly known as travellers’ diarrhoea. ETEC are defined by their ability to produce a heat-stable (ST)/-labile (LT) toxin and/or possession of colonisation factors (CFs) of which there are over 25 different genetic subtypes. We aim to investigate the AMR gene carriage in these isolates as it is relates to antimicrobial usage over time. This data is part of a pre-publication release.
