To explore the molecular mechanism of SNO-Septin2 actions in macrophages in aortic aneurysm/dissection development, aortic tissues from Apoe-/- mice which received Apoe-/- Sept2 C111A BMDMs and Apoe-/- mice which received Apoe-/- bone BMDMs induced with Ang-II perfusion for 28 days were harvested for RNA sequencing analysis to identify transcriptomic changes caused by SNO-Septin2 in macrophages. Also, to further explore the mechanism by which SNO-septin2 regulates inflammation and migration of macrophages, BMDMs from Sept2 C111A mice and WT mice, respectively, were treated with TNF-a for RNA sequencing analysis.
