This essay explores the significance of temporality in the works of Pier Paolo Pasolini. Throughout his production, and especially in his poetry, time emerges as a fundamental thematic concern that, stemming from metapoetic reflections, shapes both the author's relationship with reality and the invention of its form, either by constructing it as a world or, alternatively, by pursuing a language that seeks to shed light on and preserve the vast, uninterrupted flow of life throughout history.
