Supplementary material for "A mixed Petrov--Galerkin Cosserat rod finite element formulation"

The dataset contains supplementary material to the publication "A mixed Petrov--Galerkin Cosserat rod finite element formulation". The data was generated using the different rod finite element formulations described in the paper, in which we compare various interpolation strategies, formulations of the internal virtual work and spatial integration methods, to identify a locking-free, robust and computationally efficient rod finite element formulation. The dataset includes all numerical data used to create the figures of the numerical experiments, such as applied forces and moments, (dis)placements, resultant contact forces and moments and the error values used in the convergence study.
