Benchmarking Based on Basin Connectivity (3BC)

3BC数据集是由九州大学等机构创建，用于多目标优化的基准测试。该数据集通过吸引盆地连接性（Basin Connectivity）进行设计，允许用户完全指定局部Pareto前沿的数量和位置。数据集内容涉及通过拓扑分析生成的优化问题，特别适用于高维设计空间的可视化和优化。创建过程中，利用了吸引盆地图（Basin Graph）来模拟多峰景观，确保了优化问题的准确性和所需局部及全局Pareto最优解的存在。该数据集主要应用于评估和改进多目标优化求解器，特别是在处理复杂多峰问题时。The 3BC dataset was developed by institutions including Kyushu University as a benchmark for multi-objective optimization. Designed based on Basin Connectivity, this dataset enables users to fully specify both the quantity and positions of local Pareto fronts. The dataset covers optimization problems generated via topological analysis, and is particularly suitable for visualization and optimization in high-dimensional design spaces. During its development, Basin Graph was utilized to simulate multimodal landscapes, ensuring the accuracy of the optimization problems and the existence of the required local and global Pareto optimal solutions. This dataset is primarily used to evaluate and improve multi-objective optimization solvers, especially when handling complex multimodal problems.
