Sweetpotato Trait Preferences in Uganda: A Value Chain-Wide Survey Dataset (2020)

This dataset comes from a survey conducted in February 2020 in Mpigi and Masaka districts in Central Uganda, capturing trait preferences from 1,333 sweetpotato value chain actors. It includes responses from farmers, traders, processors, and consumers, highlighting differences in what each group values most in sweetpotato varieties. The data covers demographic details, ranked trait preferences, and patterns of variation across stakeholder groups.
