In this study, we sequenced the transcriptome of ramie in the seedling stage under waterlogging stress and in a normal state, analyzed the gene expression in different parts (leaves, phloem, xylem, and root) under different water conditions, and proposed a possible response mode involving ramie resistance to waterlogging stress. This research explains the reason for fiber yield and quality change under waterlogged conditions and aims to resolve the influence of waterlogging on ramie growth and development.
