Fungal communities in surface water and sediment samples of Dianchi Lake

The aim of this study was to use high-throughput amplicon sequencing to investigate the fungal community in Dianchi Lake to address the following questions: (1) what kind of fungi were there in Dianchi Lake, (2) do the fungal community structures change in different seasons, (3) do the fungal community structures differ between surface water and sediment, (4) do the fungal community structures vary among different regions and sites, and (5) what environmental factors mainly influence the fungal communities?
