A database of MHD discontinuity structures detected by the Magnetospheric Multiscale Mission

This is a MHD discontinuity database established in the manuscript "Y. T. Song & Y. Y. Liu et al. 2026, New Insights into Nature of Solar Wind Discontinuities Through MADD Technique", submitted to The Astrophysical Journal. This database is created by using the Magnetospheric Multiscale observations from 9-Oct-2017 to 10-May-2025. The Matlab data file "Eventlist.mat" contains two event lists named: 1) list_candidate, which is a 1,541,473*2 data array. The first and second columns correspond to the detection time (ISDAT epoch, the number of seconds since 1-Jan-1970) and duration of discontinuity structure candidates;2) list_final, which is a 101,383*3 data array. Three columns correspond to the detection time, duration and position (0: solar wind; 1: magnetosheath; 2: Magnetosphere) of discontinuity structures that have been further examined.
