2017 ROV video survey in a deep-water environment at Pond Inlet (Qikiqtaaluk) aboard CCGS Amundsen

The primary purpose of the ROV survey at this site was to investigate the benthic fauna biodiversity at a site near Pond Inlet, in a deep-water, steep rock walls environment. A remotely operated vehicle (ROV) was used to video survey this site, and to selectively collect samples of corals and sponges for biodiversity and geochemical studies.
