Probiotics are living microorganisms, that when given to a host in sufficient quantities improve their health. Most organisms that are commonly attributed with probiotic characteristics are from the genus Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium. The contribution of probiotics to maintaining or enhancing dental health. These probiotics treat inflammatory disorders associated with gingivitis. These have an impact on the dental supporting structures and may result in tooth loss. The purpose of this study is to treat gingivitis with probiotics administered with toothpaste, mouthwash, chewing gum and yogurt . They are very practical controlled-release transbuccal delivery technique when used alone. The green tea, and bacitracin were added along with these probiotics. The catechins included in green tea have antibacterial effects. Bacitracin inhibits bacterial growth, which is how it functions. These elements will affect how gastrointestinal and tooth issues react. Chemical tests were used to characterize lactobacillus probiotics.
