Anhang zu "The Lower - Middle Miocene transition (Karpatian – Badenian) in the Krems Embayment (Central Paratethys, Lower Austria): a multistratigraphic approach and the role of the Diendorf-Boskovice Fault System"

The Krems Embayment represents the westernmost fully marine depositional environments of the Karpatian and Badenian transgressions in the Central Paratetys. Four deep drill cores were investigated to analyse the bio- and lithostratigraphic, and tectonic relations. The investigated core sections cover the Karpatian Laa Formation and the Badenian Grund Formation. This dataset contains sedimentological data of drill core NÖ-02. This includes dry weight, content of sand, and content of clay and silt as well as a detailed core description (Figure SF2).
