Louis XV Meissen Bouquetiere Figure

This is one of two French Ormolu-mounted meissen bouquetiere figures created in the period of Louis XV's reign. The porcelain originates from around 1740-44, and the mount circa 1745-49. Each work was modelled by a J.J.Kandler, and the mounts are struck with the 'c couronné poincon'.
