Phylogenetic, Ecological, and Agronomic Characterization of Coffea dactylifera, a Wild Coffee Relative from the Democratic Republic of Congo: functional traits

These datafiles contain functional trait data for wild individuals of Coffea dactylifera and Coffea canephora collected in Yangambi and Ubundu (DR Congo). The file "data_total_herbarium.csv" includes average trait values per individual measured from herbarium vouchers (LL=Leaf Length (cm); LW=Leaf Width (cm); INT=Internode Length (cm); SLA=Specific Leaf Area (m2/kg); SL=Stomatal Length (µm); SW=Stomatal Width (µm); SD=Stomatal Density (no./mm2). The file "bean_size_finaal.csv" contains the Bean Length (=BL) en Bean Width (=BW) data. "height_boxplot_dec.csv" contains data on plant height. the file "genome_size.xlsx" contains the genome sizes measurements for C. dactylifera, C. canephora, C. arabica, C. anthonyi and C. humilis, obtained through flowcytometry. The Rscript "Rscript_functional_traits_25.R" used for data analysis. It generates boxplots, performs a principal component analysis (PCA) on SL, SW, SD, and SLA, and conducts group comparison tests.
