资源简介:
In the present study, we developed genome-wide SNP markers using SLAF-seq technology from oil palm 200 individuals with different geographical origins, and used this data to evaluate the genetic diversity population structure and patterns of linkage disequilibrium in this population. Subsequently, we,investigated fatty acid content and identified SNP markers linked with this trait by GWAS analysis, identifying candidate genes adjacent to these SNP markers with known roles in fatty acid content and analyzing their expression patterns in different tissue types. To validate the role of top candidate genes in regulating palmic oil content, we transferred these genes into Arabidopsis thaliana. Our study provides a comprehensive understanding of fatty acid content in oil palm, and SNPs and candidate genes detected will play an important role in breeding for fatty acid content in oil palm
