This dataset is a spatial distribution dataset of forest vegetation type boundaries classified via remote sensing imagery in Guangdong Province from 2013 to 2017, with a scale of 1:100,000. It is derived from the China Forest Vegetation Survey Project conducted by the Research Institute of Forest Resources Information Systems, Chinese Academy of Forestry. The project was developed based on partial historical vegetation distribution maps, forest distribution maps, 2012 TM data, 1990s TM data, field plot survey data and other relevant materials, and was strictly processed in accordance with the relevant provisions of the "Specification for Forest Vegetation Classification, Survey and Mapping" (2019). The data is in vector format, containing attribute fields such as forest category subgroup, forest category, and forest series group. It provides data support and services for forest resource inventory, planning and design, and other related applications.
