资源简介:
This dataset accompanies the study "Reduced Configural Information Modulates Fixation Patterns but Does Not Affect Emotion Recognition" by Yang, Y., Amorim, M., & Eric, B. (2021). It is designed for teaching purposes in the master's course "Fundamental Psychophysiological Methods in Cognitive Psychology" (126040) led by Dr. Yang Yu-Fang.
The dataset examines how facial stimulus types (sketched vs. photographed faces) and emotions (happiness, sadness, anger, neutral, and fearful) influence fixation patterns on key facial regions (Nose, Eyes, Mouth, Else) and their relationship to reaction times (RT).
Key Features:
Includes fixation times (in milliseconds) for four regions of interest (ROIs): Nose, Eyes, Mouth, and Else.
Reaction times (RTs) are recorded during emotion recognition tasks.
Conditions: Photo (photographed faces) and Sketch (sketched faces).
Emotions: Happiness, Sadness, Anger, Neutral, and Fearful.
Notes for Students:
Data from subjects 5-7 have been removed to encourage independent analysis and prevent bias from prior findings.
