Okeanos Explorer Meteorological Station Deployed 2015-01-01

The Okeanos Explorer Meteorological Station 01 was deployed on 2015-01-01 on Okeanos Explorer. The Okeanos Explorer is operated by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Office of Ocean Exploration and Research (OER). This device is a Meteorological Station. Meteorological stations are instruments that make routine meteorological measurements on the atmosphere and are comprised of a suite of sensors. Typical examples of measurements include temperature, barometric pressure, humidity, rainfall, solar radiation, wind speed and direction. It was deployed on a mobile platform. Data from this deployment were archived and made available through Ocean Networks Canada's Oceans 2.0 digital infrastructure, with quality assurance and derived data products following established practices.
