This dataset collects the battery category, material system and corresponding unit price at the corresponding time from the suppliers and purchasers of waste energy storage batteries, analyzes the historical market prices of waste energy storage batteries, establishes a price prediction function for waste energy storage batteries, predicts the future market prices of different types of waste energy storage batteries, and provides price trend prediction services for market supply and demand parties.
1. Data Source
Collect supply and purchase information of waste energy storage batteries from the platform, specifically including battery structure, category, shape, material system, unit price data and other relevant information from both purchasers and suppliers.
2. Data Processing
First, analyze the price trends of cells/modules of different brands and materials based on the collected data; sort the data in chronological order, select the supply shipment time and corresponding unit price to generate price line charts; use univariate linear regression (based on the least squares method) on the price line charts to generate price trend lines for different types of batteries. The linear formula of the price trend line is y = -Ax + B, where y is the battery price, x is the time, and both A and B are constants of the price trend line for a certain type of battery (for example, A can be 0.0972 and B can be 3958.2).
Second, substitute the data of a future time (such as 60 days) into the formula, combine with factors such as supply and demand relationship, and conduct manual adjustment based on professional judgment to obtain the predicted price value; the price trend of each type of battery can be calculated using the same method based on the price of different types of batteries.
3. Data Application
By analyzing the historical market prices of waste energy storage batteries, establish a price prediction function for waste energy storage batteries, predict the future market prices of different types of waste energy storage batteries, and provide price guidance for market supply and demand parties.
