In order to identify the secondary mechanism responsible for (S)-AAC cytotoxic effects on human cells, (S)-DAC resistant clone DACR#A4 was mutagenized with EMS and the mutagenized population was selected with a 10 uM lethal concentration of a (S)-AAC. Individual clones were isolated (AACR clones). Seven of them, plus the DACR#A4 clone, were submitted to RNA-seq to identify mutations conferring resistance to (S)-AAC.
