Data were collected annually in spring from 1984 to 2007 at WMSC seawater intake pipes and Bird Rock along fixed band transects (3m by 60m) at 3 depths (5m, 10m, 15m). Seastars Pisaster giganteus and Patiria miniata were counted and measured in each transect. The purpose of the data is to evaluate long-term abundance trends, particularly with relation to seastar wasting disease outbreaks.
