#Auslibchat and social librarians: Building your online professional identity

This talk draws on the library and information sector’s use of Twitter and the example of #auslibchat to explore the benefits and challenges of using your online identity as a networking tool. After some discussion of those benefits, and any possible contentious aspects of self-branding, attendees will be posed a series of questions to encourage them explore to and define their own expectations, boundaries and aspirations.<br>The slides for this presentation were developed by Evanthia Samaras.
