American cable news channel MSNBC spent over three hours covering violence against trans people in the United States in 2022, making this the cable channel dedicating the most airtime to anti-trans violence. Conversely, Fox News' coverage of anti-trans violence amounted to just nine minutes. The source noted that whilst MSNBC's and CNN's coverage was substantially higher than usual, coverage of Club Q affected these figures, and MSNBC was the only network to run any segments addressing violence against trans people outside of Club Q coverage.
