Photograph of a specimen of Fourcroya blossom and seed pod, ca.1920. Three lightly-colored flowers can be seen at top with short, thin petals formed around the pistols like a star. Their dark, thick stems appear to have a fine layer of lightly-colored fuzz along the surfaces. Below the blossoms lies a piece of stem with pieces of lightly-colored yarn tied around either end. Three pods hang beneath the stem and the center pod is split open to reveal a shimmering, lightly-colored interior.
