Annual Gridded Economic Sustainability Maps for China, 2001-2021

This dataset contains annual 1-km gridded Economic Sustainable Development Index (ESDI) maps for mainland China for the period 2001-2021. The ESDI is constructed within the Growth-Poverty-Inequality (GPI) framework, aligned with SDGs 1, 8, and 10, and the maps are derived by integrating long-term nighttime light remote sensing, socioeconomic statistics, and population distribution data.
