资源简介:
Restriction around the world to confine the spread of COVID-19 virus (e.g. stay-at-home orders (i.e. lockdowns)) led to large reductions in activities such as transportation. As a result, large reductions in air pollutant emissions were observed around the world. In this study, we used WRF-Chem model to study the lockdown period in India, which was in April 2020. Specifically, we studied the changes in air quality between April 2019 and April 2020 and the roles that different meteorology and emissions played. Four scenarios were designed to study these factors (2019BAU, 2019COVID, 2020BAU, 2020COVID). We also studied the ozone formation chemistry in India using the Integrated Reaction Rates (IRR) module in WRF-Chem. This dataset includes the surface-level simulation results for these four scenarios accompanied by the IRR outputs for two days (13 March and 7 April), that were discussed in the manuscript.
