"This paper presents a smartphone operating system (OS)\u2013centric, voice-driven architecture for smart glasses. Unlike existing wearable systems that embed substantial intelligence within the device itself, the proposed approach centralizes speech recognition and intent inference at the smartphone OS layer, treating smart glasses as a lightweight thin client. The architecture is implemented using Apple OS devices and RTOS-based smart glasses, enabling seamless voice interaction through low-latency wireless communication. Extensive experimental evaluations demonstrate that the proposed system achieves low end-to-end latency, significant energy savings, and high projection accuracy compared to headset-centric designs. Furthermore, the architecture is extensible toward 6G-enabled mobile edge intelligence."
