The Northern Nicobar Group is situated at the northernmost end of India's Nicobar Islands. Administratively, it belongs to the Nicobar District under the Indian Union Territory of Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Geographically, it ranges from 8°49′10″N to 9°15′24″N in latitude and 92°43′7″E to 92°51′47″E in longitude. The Northern Nicobar Group comprises two islands: Car Nicobar Island and Batti malv Island. Car Nicobar Island is the larger of the two, with an area of 125.73 km². The total area of the Northern Nicobar Group is 127.29 km², and the total length of its coastline is 56.86 km. This dataset was compiled based on Google Earth satellite imagery and maps related to India and the Andaman Islands. It consists of 15 data files, stored in .kmz and .shp formats, with an original size of 192 KB (compressed into 2 data files with a total size of 77.1 KB).
