Illumina whole genome resequencing of highland/lowland maize landraces and Zea mays ssp. parviglumis

This project resequenced 31 maize landraces from 6 populations to high depth (four highland populations: Mexican Highland, Southwest US highland, Guatemalan Highland, and the Andes; two lowland populations: Mexican Lowland and South American lowland) to study both maize demography during its diffusion from its origin center after domestication and the genomic architecture of highland adaptation. Four parviglumis individuals were also included to clarify evolution since domestication.
