资源简介:
Caloric restriction (CR) slows the ageing process in many orgamisms, including mice. Liver is an important metabolic organ with active RNA expression. CR reprogrammes hepatic metabolism as well as hepatic transcriptome. We sought to study CR-induced transcriptomic changes in mouse liver to investigate the anti-ageing mechanisms of CR. Eight-week-old male WT C57BL/6J mice were housed individually and were randomly allocated into 2 groups (3 mice per group). AL mice were fed AL food ad libitum for 12 weeks. CR mice were fed a 20% restricted diet for the first week and a 40% restricted diet for the remaining 11 weeks of the CR diet. Then the livers were collected and the hepatic RNAs were extracted for microarray analysis.
