Bicycle sales distribution in the European Union (EU) 2013-2016, by country

This statistic shows the distribution of bicycle sales in the European Union (EU) from 2013 to 2016, by country. Germany, Great Britain and France were the biggest three purchasers of bicycles in the EU, together constituting over 50 percent of all sales in 2016. Germany made up for 21 percent of all European bicycle sales, Great Britain for 16 percent and France for 16 percent. This amounts to a combined market share of all bicycle sales in the EU of 52 percent.
