港湾の開発、利用、管理のために規則に規定する港湾について施設状況、利用状況を調査するもの。港湾に対して荷役労働者やはしけなどの荷役能力や、乗降人員や貨物量などの利用状況を調査し、地質や潮位などの自然状況、臨港鉄道、道路などの施設状況を都道府県に報告させた。
規則を全部改正された。

This dataset investigates the facility and utilization status of harbors, as prescribed by regulations, for their development, utilization, and management. It examines the cargo handling capacity of laborers and lighters, as well as the utilization status of passenger embarkation and cargo volume. Additionally, it assesses natural conditions such as geology and tidal levels, and the facility status of port railroads and roads, and reports these findings to the prefectures and prefectural governments. The regulations have been fully revised.
