资源简介:

This dataset contains the results of a city-wide photovoltaic yield simulation for Munich. The results were calculated using the open-source package https://github.com/open-pv/simshady. simshady performs WebGL2-based ray tracing and provides triangular-mesh yield estimates for 3D building geometries. The input is the LoD2 CityGML building model of Munich, which is made freely available by the Bavarian Surveying Authority under CC BY 4.0 (https://geodaten.bayern.de/opengeodata/OpenDataDetail.html?pn=lod2) and was converted to OBJ format using CityGML2OBJ 2.0. Hourly radiation data from the German Weather Service (DWD) for the year 2018 are being used. The entire area was divided into 432 tiles, each measuring 1 km × 1 km. Each tile has been simulated individually while taking shading effects from neighbouring tiles into account. In total, triangles covering approximately 200 km² of building surface area were calculated. For each of the 432 tiles, the dataset contains: binary files containing vertex positions, vertex colours (RGB) and yield intensities per triangle, a colour-coded OBJ mesh, an orthographic top-down PNG image, a JSON summary with aggregated and time-step-based yield metrics (total and average yield, as well as the simulated area). The aggregated results provide following results. Total annual solar radiation is 15.4 TWh, with an average of 75.8 kWh/m²/year. The dataset serves both as a basis for further research into urban PV potential and also as a reproducibility artefact for simshady and the associated master’s thesis.
