Hypervolumes used to measure climatic dissimilarity in Paleorecords reveal biological mechanisms crucial for reliable species range shift projections amid rapid climate change (Van der Meersch et al., 2025).
Hypervolumes were computed using the R package hypervolume, with a Gaussian kernel density estimation method based upon the first three principal component axis from three-month means temperature and three-month sums of precipitation (see Methods in the main text).
