R script for the construction and analysis of fatal occupational falls among brazilian workers, 2015–2023

This R script was developed to prepare and analyze data from the Mortality Information System (SIM), available through DATASUS, Ministry of Health, Brazil. It supports the construction of the analytical dataset and the descriptive and inferential analyses for an article aimed at characterizing deaths among workers aged 18 to 69 years due to falls during economic activity in Brazil, between 2015 and 2023. The analyses consider sociodemographic characteristics, medical assistance, occupational groups, and geographic distribution, as well as the estimation of odds ratios for mortality.
