In this study, two up-flow anaerobic sludge blanket (UASB) reactors, UACK as the control and UBENR fed with enrofloxacin (ENR) (0.2 to 1 mg L-1) were operated at room temperature. Results showed that Ca. Kuenenia was selectively accumulated with a higher relative abundance of 91.93% in UBENR than that of UACK (75.03%). Metagenomic analysis retrieved the unique anammox genome that was affiliated with Ca. Kuenenia stuttgartiensis.
