Lung expression data from young and old mice at ZT0 and ZT12

Circadian rhythms control the diurnal nature of many physiological, metabolic and immune processes. Circadian rhythms are tighly controlled by positive and negative transcriptional loops; This circuitry is altered during aging altering tissue daily function. We used microarrays to detail the global programme of gene expression underlying age-mediated alteration of the transcriptional progarm in lungs. Lungs from 2-month-old and 22-month-old male mice were perfused with PBS and harvested every 4 hours from ZT0 (Light on) to ZT24 with ZT12 corresponding to light off.
昼夜节律(Circadian rhythms)调控诸多生理、代谢及免疫过程的日周期运行特性。昼夜节律由正负向转录反馈环路精密调控;该调控环路在衰老过程中发生改变,进而影响组织的昼夜节律功能。我们通过基因芯片(microarrays)详细解析了肺部中由衰老介导的转录程序改变所依托的全局基因表达程序。我们对2月龄与22月龄的雄性小鼠肺部以磷酸盐缓冲液(PBS)灌流后,从ZT0(光照开启)至ZT24每隔4小时采集一次样本,其中ZT12对应光照关闭时刻。
